This is the neighborhood for you. Woodlawn was established in the mid- 1950’s including waterfront homes, interior homes, there is still a church within the neighborhood itself. Any given morning you will see several people walking and waving, almost like a walking park. The construction of these homes has mostly been updated remodeled and maintained, some have been torn down and our neighbors have built beautiful new homes. Some of the neighbors have been there since the subdivision was first built they are very friendly and welcoming. And still yet, you hear the laughter of young children, see them on their on bicycles, watch them catch their school buses, etc. There is presently new construction coming on the scene…we look forward to new neighbors. Some of us have been neighbors in Woodlawn since we were children, some have 3 generations living here. Interior homes are conservatively priced…and waterfront is competitively priced. The canal front properties had the canal dredged and have good depth…and access is about 20 minutes to the pass (Shell Island). Always room for more...look forward to seeing there.
